Can't import songs from Dance Central 1 to Dance Central 3

Hey there.

So recently I asked about the import codes before and had to come to the conclusion, that the ones I had from used copies that I bought had to be already used.

So I got a brand new copy of Dance Central 1 on Amazon, obviously with a brand new and unused code. The game was sealed and everything. So I start up my Dance Central 3 (I bought this one used too if that is important) and I enter the code from DC1 and I
get the same screen: No option to buy or download anything. The only option I get is "Cancel".

Am I missing something? Do I need a Gold membership on XBOX Live to do it? Could it be that someone already imported the songs on my used copy of Dance Central 3 to their account, so I need a brand new copy of Dance Central 3 to be able to do it? I wasn't
able to import the DC1 songs to my used copy of Dance Central 2 either. Same "Only Cancel"-Screen.

There has to be something that won't let me import the songs.

I can't find a solution anywhere online...

Help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Dance Central 2 Different Codes

Hi,

I believe the normal 25 digit code included in your Dance Central 2 game is Microsoft currency that could be used to buy and download Dance Central songs from the Xbox Marketplace.

The 16 digit code would be used to redeem in-game I believe to import/export songs from Dance Central 1 to Dance Central 2.
