    Can't hear voice chat on PC


    I'm playing a game with two friends (my grandsons), and we're trying to voice chat. They can hear me and each other, but I can't hear them. I'm on a Windows 10 PC; one of my grandsons is also on a Windows 10 PC, the other is on an Xbox.

    I've checked every setting on my PC Xbox Game Bar, including the microphone and speaker settings - everything seems to be right. I can hear the game sounds etc., but not the voice chat.

    One thing I've wondered is if it could be something in the parental controls on their end. But, that doesn't make sense to me - I would think if that was the problem, they wouldn't be able to hear me.

    Any ideas??

    I can’t hear or speak on game chat on Xbox X on cod mw3 but if I go party chat on Xbox I can no dramas

    I'm having the same or similar issue. I can hear game audio and people can hear me, but i can't hear their voice chats. Can't seem to fix it

    Live is on the PC but it's not the same. I mean fully integrated. I can't even party chat or listen to voice messages on the PC

    When i play on servers that accept voice chat i can't active my microphone or can't hear people but my friends on roblox player can actually do, why can't i use voice chat like them ?

    Party chat vs in game chat?

    Party chat is more private, where as ingame chat everyone in that session or within proximity of you will hear your voice, and you can hear their voices.
