Can't hear the people in party

    Hi there,

Press the Home button on the controller and press the profile picture in the upper left and select "Choose this person".

This should resolve the issue and you will be able to hear your party.

If not, try pwoering down your console completely (hold power button for 10 seconds, then unplug from wall for about a minute) and if needed do the "Choose this person" method again.

Let us know how you get on.

People can't hear me on party chat?!

I second what the others have said here, also check your emails to see if Microsoft issued a communication ban.

People can't hear me on party chat?!

Obviously check to see if all you privacy and party settings are correct. Possibly look at https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US as it could be you have a coms ban.

You can try to power cycle your console. If anything you may want to consider your headset.

People can't hear me on party chat?!

Hey there Teswa thanks for taking the time to bring this issue to us.

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused
but rest assured we are here to help, we have seen this in the past and since the issue could be on the actual OS of the console so we would suggest a >Soft
    Factory Reset
<(while keeping games and apps, both
    controller and headset plugged in
) IF AND ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA IS MET:

    • There is a stable network connection.
    • The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)

Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup
lets do manual setup as this will push any and all updates through to the console, controller and headset. Give it a shot and let us know of any changes!

Side note: The way to get in contact with one of our Xbox Support Specialist : When you go to
    Contact Usto
request a callback, follow these steps:

    • Step 1 ----Select Xbox One
    • Step 2 ----Select
      See other options
    • Step 3 ----Select topic
    • Step 4 ----Select "Show contact options"
    • Step 5 ----Select request a call from support

Once they call, explain the issue and they will be able to help you.

    I hope this information helps.

People in my party can't hear me

Hi there! My name is Darhyl and I’d be more than happy to help you with your query.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this on your Xbox party chat.

According to the official Xbox website: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/display-sound/troubleshoot-xbox-one-party-audio kindly try to perform the following workarounds:

Note: The solution to this issue may take a lot of steps.

"Check that your privacy settings allow communication with everyone. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide and select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy. Select View details & customize > Communication & multiplayer, and then make your changes.

Unmute or unblock the person you’re trying to chat with. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide, and then select Parties & chats. Select the party to expand the party roster, choose the person you want to unmute, and select Unmute.

Check the party chat volume for each person in your party. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide, and then select Parties & chats. Select the party to expand the party roster, choose the person you want to check, and then verify that their volume slider is at a level that you can hear. To change the volume level, move left or right using the D-pad or the left stick to adjust the volume slider.

Check that you have joined party chat from within the party window.

Check to see if the party member who is unable to be heard has Noise Suppression enabled on their settings. To toggle this on and off:
Press the Xbox button  to open the guide and select Parties & chats.
Highlight the party listed and then press the A button  > Options.
Turn Noise Suppression on and off.

Check to make sure you’re not in a Discord voice channel. If you are, it’ll say “Discord” and the name of the channel. If you’re in a Discord voice channel, go to the following page for troubleshooting suggestions:

How to use Discord with Xbox https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/friends-social-activity/parties-chat/using-discord-with-xbox

Note: This feature is on in all parties by default to help remove unwanted background noise from the party audio like music, nearby fans, traffic, etc. If your intent is to share these other sounds with the party, then you would want to disable Noise Suppression to unblock any external sounds.

Noise suppression is enabled only on Xbox Series X|S consoles."

Thank you for your kindness and understanding! Please feel free to let me know if you need anything else.

    Best Regards,
    Darhyl
