Cant hear some friends in party

In a party, we can hear most players except one who cant hear us either. Other players can hear them tho and hear us. Have been through all the settings as directed and still no good! Any help appreciated. Thanks

there are various possibilities:
- or you have muted them
- or they have network problems
- or keep the mic off
We should also understand what they are told about this problem

Your friend my have settings changed on his xbox profile or may have accidentally muted you as well

Thanks. Have tried all that, its just that one friend we can't talk to, but can talk to others and he can talk to others. Is it because we have xbox headphones rather than other brand?

Go in to auto settings and try changing the headset settings
