Cant hear other players voice with astro a40s

So my issue just started weds.. I turned my xbox off and hour later turned it on.. and nobody on ghost or titanfall can hear me.. I unplugged everything cleared cache on xbox power drained it.. Nothing. hooked my Astros up to my 360 works.. put my chat headset
that I got with the one and the voice works.. someone says its the firmware for my mixamp. but it was working.. is the april update going to fix this.. or what other options can I try.. and I can hear my voice playback in upload..

Audio & Chat won't work together

I have a pair of Astro A40s. When I plug my headset into the mixamp I can hear the other players. The second I plug the cord into the Chat adapter, I am no longer able to hear anything but I can use my mic. Once I remove, mic stops working and I can hear
them again.

 

Microsoft partnering with Tritton/Madcatz for Warheads headset?

I'll stick with my Astro A40s.
