can't hear my party's members

hi everyone, i have a problem since when i restarted my pc for a antivirus update and now i cant hear no one in the party but i hear game clips, notification, ecc.. I have this problem since a month, and is frustrating. My headset are connected with jack
port and that works with teamspeak, steam skype, ecc.. so i exclude that is my headset. I have also tried to unistall and reinstall the app, but nothing. pls help me!!

Xbox One error code: 0x89231014

I'm having the exact same issue as Mrz Austin, I can join party's on one of the accounts on my xbox but it doesn't pick up my voice but I can still hear people. On the other account I can't join party's at all there's this error code.

I'm also a preview member

Help please

someone please help when I join party's no one can hear me and I can't hear them and I know it's not my headphones because they worked but as soon a second I turned the Xbox off and back on I can tell hear or talk to anyone

It happened after an anti-virus update? Try re-adding the Xbox app to the exceptions list for the antivirus. That would be a good place to start. Let us know if it worked.

didnt work so i unistalled avast, restarted my pc and still dont work. Now i think it's a problem with firewall 'cause also steam and skype don't work

You could try disabling your firewall and see if that's the issue. Reinstall audio drivers. Or try a new headset.

I'm having the same issue as well. Every once in a blue moon party chat works, but 80%+ I either can't hear my party members or they can't hear me. This is getting ridiculous. I put the console down from December until now to see if MS would get it together
and they clearly haven't. The interface is an F-ing joke. Sony must have paid off the team who created it.

Due to licencing and copyright concerns, they can't hear the sound of the game. You'll need to use a third party app for that.

People in your party WILL hear you while you are broadcasting. If you do not want party members to hear just mute mic in your party options.
