Can't hear half the players in my match in game chat

I've got a pretty big problem; when I play games in the Master Chief Collection (the only online game I play), I can't hear half the people in my game. I know an easy solution would be to use a party chat, but this doesn't help when I have more than eight
people in my game. I have a Moderate NAT and I think that may be the problem, but I'm worried that won't fix it. Has anybody else had similar problems?

I'm down to play since none of my friends have upgraded. My only problem is game chat. I can't hear other players chatting. Only they can hear me

anyone else having issues with the in game chat? Sometimes I can hear people and they can't hear me. Sometimes I can see their voice bubble coming up but I can't hear them. One match I could hear my entire team except one dude couldn't hear any of us.

 

Try giving your XB1 a static IP and allow DMZ for that IP on your router.

 

Have you checked your audio settings to make sure that you have it set so that you can hear all players in the game, instead of just team and party?

 

Yeah, I checked, that's not it unfortunately. I wish it was that easy
