    Can't hear chat with Turtle Beach X12s


    So I got the headset adapter and updated my controller. I can hear game audio perfectly fine. But I can't hear chat. People can hear me but I can't hear them. Anyone have an idea why I'm having this problem ?

    Researching to buy new headset please help! Can't hear chat with Turtle Beach X12s :)

    why not just buy turtle beach x12s for $35 then you can use the extra $100 or what ever and buy 3 more turtle beach x12s. Maybe you could buy a mixing board and use it with your headset or buy a present for mothers day on may 11th.

    Can Anyone Else Still Hear Game Chat While in Party Chat?

    i can hear game chat while im in party chat all the time with my turtle beaches.

    Try pulling the stereo jack out the headset adapter very slowly and see if that helps, I'm having issues as well go figure for MS product.

    I believe the issue lies with our headset adapters being TRRS and our turtle beaches being TRS. If the pulling out works you can buy a TRS female to a TRRS male adapter for a few quid, should solve the problem, I'll be ordering one tonight.

    i have the hurtlebeach earforce XL1 and have the same problem but it works with the party chat no prob, and work on my laptop, how did u fix it

    yep turtle beach X12 and Earforce DSS virtual surround , if you could hear enemies i would...........but i hear nothing!

    Audio adaptor delayed.

    I managed to get an adapter today, I have set it up, but I really struggle to hear in game chat, just seems that I can hear the game audio, but chat is really hard to hear. I have turned up the chat volume to full and game audio down as low as I can. The
    chat doesn't seem to be adjusted by the volume control. I am using turtle beach X12
