    Xbox Live is down

    i cant join parties send messages unles someone sends me one and when they do i cant hear them. xbox is not down but there are problems

    updating your security proofs     and try again. Also, are you able to send messages via Xbox.com at all?

    Are you seeing any error message?

    If you are seeing an error relating to privacy settings follow these steps:

    1. Go to Sign in to your Microsoft account and click privacy settings.
    2. Then scroll down to "Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites?" and select "Everyone"
    3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to save
    Another possible reason that you might not be able to send messages is if you have any bans/ suspensions.
