    Can't hear anyone when I'm in game groups or parties


    Ive tried everything I can think of for this to work. I exchanged my headset for a new one. I bought a new controller. I adjusted the levels on the controller insert. I have open network access and I have reset my console. I've searched Reddit and YouTube
    and even chatted with a Microsoft support person online...any ideas please help me?!

    Xbox one chat not working

    I had a communication ban for 2 weeks and it ended today at 14:44, I can send messages and that fine, join parties but when I speak others can't hear me and I can't hear them. I know when they are talking because the Division has a static wave to resemble
    mic noise in the group management. I looked at my communication settings and they're open to anyone to hear and everything looks fine. It's a new headset, a brand new controller and never had anything wrong with them at all. Anyone have any solution? I really
    want to talk to DZ groups.

    Headset chat not working when streaming to pc

    Hey hope someone can help, when I stream my xbox to my windows laptop and play it through there, the headset works I can hear the game and it's sound effects but when I'm on a party/chat I can't hear the other person and they can't hear me but I can still
    hear the game so the head set is working.

    Is this a quick fix by a setting or can't you be in parties etc when streaming to laptop? My headset is a turtle beach one.

    This may be the way your account privacy settings are configured.

    Next time you are on your Xbox One, press the Guide button, go right to 'System', then select 'All Settings'. From there go to 'Account' >>> 'Privacy & Online Safety' >>> 'Xbox Live Privacy' >>> 'View Details & Customize'.

    From there go to 'Communication & Multiplayer'. Where it says "Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites" make sure it is set to "Everybody" if you wish for all players to communicate with you.

    You should check your privacy setting, If everything is enabled. I would suggest going to your network setting and make sure your NAT type is open. If its closed reply back and I can tell you some thing that can make it open. If your NAT type is open and
    your encountering this issue. I would try resetting your modem/router.

    If that doesn't fix it try doing a power cycle on your console. To do this you will need to press and HOLD the power button on your CONSOLE until the LIGHT turns OFF. Next you will need to unplug your console from the wall and wait 2 minutes. After the 2
    minutes are up restart the console.
