Can't get Xbox One to work with 50ft HDMI or 4K splitter

Has anyone had any luck with long HDMI cable runs and the xbox one. I have a Theater and really want to enjoy 4k on my 55". The components are approximately 40ft from the screen. I have ordered multiple cable via Amazon HDMI 2.0 HDCP 2.2 and so far I'm
0 for 3. If i hook if using an old 1.3 6ft cable it works perfect. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a signal loss over length issue? I have the same issue with the splitter as well. It also is HDCP 2.2 rated for 4k. I can't find one that works.

It will be the splitter thats the issue if I doesn't support 4K, if your not sure connect the xbox directly to the monitor, if you then get 4K enabled you know its the splitter preventing you getting 4K

With the amount of (4K) bandwidth that gets transferred over HDMI, you're definitely pushing the limit at 50 feet. There's no established cable limit for HDMI, but there are reports that the maximum reliable signal goes around your 50 feet (~15m), using
the absolutely best quality cables.

Attenuation (or weakening) of the electrical signal over that length of HDMI cable is causing it to not display anything. As HDMI is a digital signal, you will either get a perfect signal, or nothing at all.

You will have to consider getting an active HDMI repeater to extend the signal between those 50 feet, ensuring it supports driving 4K@60Hz.

It's a tall order to support this kind of 4K setup. Have you considered moving the Xbox closer to the TV? lol.

 

Monoprice.Com has some active HDMI cables rated for 4K. If you can help it, do not use an HDMI splitter or DA. HDCP is a pain to deal with. The A/V company i work for uses monoprice
stuff and it works. Quality is meh. if you do order the cable i had linked be sure to note ts an active cable and only works in one direction.

 

HDCP gets shaky around 20m/s or greater delay to protect from someone taking the cdmi signal and stripping it along the way to the receiver. Might be running up against that.
