    cant get xbox one guide off tv while watching live tv


    I turned on my xbox today and when I go to live tv I get a side bar for one guide that shows the alphabet listed a-z from top to bottom of screen and just to the right of that is a list of individual channels under each letter...can't get rid of this!

    TV Tuner Stereo output only?

    Will this issue ever be resolved Microsoft? To get surround sound (5.1) for live TV I may have to give up the guide and XBOX ONE and get live TV through my TV where I get 5.1 surround. This is going backward in my opinion as XBOX ONE guide is excellent.

    You cant. It goes away while watching TV or playing games.

    You can still feed your TV through the Xbox and watch Live TV. Its just that the One Guide functionality is not available.

    I am able to watch TV while the xbox one is turned off. I just change the source to TV and somehow it works

    Having same problem... Was working turning on/off all devices and watching TV fine. Left it off for about a day (thanksgiving), now no devices turn on or off with the console and when trying to watch TV it's returning error "For some reason TV took too
    long to start (0x8027025a)" I'm also unable to adjust any settings for the TV or other devices, receiving this same error when attempting to access the settings menu for TV & Xbox One Guide.
