Cant get xbox 360 update on my profile. Please help!!

I have a rather annoying problem. Everytime I sign into my 360 profile, I am greeted with the same old dated stuff on my dashboard, especially the miopic looking Tiger Woods for the 2013 game demo. I have gathered that my profile needs the latest xbox 360
marketplace update, and I have tried all of the suggestions on the support section to get this, but to no success. I was however advised to format my xbox hard drive but I'm worried that I wont be able to recover all the digital game content, of which there
is a substantial amount, without having to pay for it all again. All the other profiles on my xbox seem to be up to date marketplace wise, but they are all offline, and the other live capable profiles I cant sign in to as they are very old and I dont have
the passwords anymore. Can anybody provide any suggestions on how to go about getting this elusive update for my current profile please?

cant remember email

had to update my xbox recently to get on line, when update date had finnished it had wiped my profile off, tried to retrieve my gamertag but cant remember my email address, also my house phone is registerd on the account so i cant recieve the texts on it.
any help please as ive been without xbox live now for over a week.

i couldnt update roblox...cant remember code ... it was a 360 code!!!! so i uninstalled it. now i cant install it and i get above code which i cant find on xbox support.... please someone help.

 

If you have purchased the content once you will not be charged again. However, if the content is removed from Marketplace you will not be able to download it again.

What you can try, that is almost as good as formatting the hard drive, is to try with a USB (support.xbox.com/.../usb-flash-drive). You can format a USB and download
your profile to it (support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete) and if you are able to update the profile, you need to format your hard drive. In
this scenario you can copy all the items and games you can't find in Marketplace to the USB and should be fine.

Did you get a error message or a status code when you tried to update?

Another thing you can try is to remove your profile and download it again, just remember to choose "remove profile ONLY" and your games and items will not be removed. (support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete)
