    Can't get wireless to work, and I don't know how to change firewall settings.


    I'm on Xbox live and I can't get the wireless network to work. I've tried the password many times, and It keeps saying that my password is wrong. I know it is not. Don't know what to do. Can't seem to play it offline. Anyhow suggestions?

    No Color

    I can't get any color to come up on my Xbox 360, it's brand new and I can't get the color to work. I've tried re-arranging the cables in the back of my TV, I've changed my display settings. It's on 480i SD, but I don't know how to change that. I went
    searching around on sites and people kept saying Resolution settings, but I don't know how to access that.

    Please help me, no color is driving me nuts!

    My firewall settings are on default, so Outbound is set on never block and Inbound is set to always block. While I've been wondering about the always block setting on the Inbound, I don't know what I should set to allow. I can't find an option to turn off
    the firewall completely.

    I am having The same issue... Tried everything even changing the firewall settings and I still can't connect to xbox live. Let me know if you figure out how to solve this issue.

    medium bloke, how is the xbox different from the console. I gave you every piece of information you needed, so if you can't help me that's not a problem, but I made it quite clear that I can't connect to xbox live and thus can't change anything

    @eon ... I was getting the same message as you man about it being 'unavailable'. It's great that you finally got your working ... you're the second person I've seen that has gotten it to work by disabling their firewall. So I decided to check out my router
    settings and noticed that the firewall was already set to off ... so that can't be it. Also I set up port forwarding and changed my 360 to use a static IP ... but that has had no effect. Any other suggestions?

    How is your firewall setup? It appears if it's not set to minimum, you can experience some troubles. Also, how is the security setup?



    Please refer to the known issues below.

    Known Issues:

    If the firewall is set to Maximum or Medium security on this device, you will encounter an MTU error. Make sure the firewall level is set to Minimum. The firmware for this device may be locked down by the ISP and you may have to contact them to make any changes
    within the firmware. If the 360S does not connect to the wireless, it may be necessary to change the encryption type from mixed WPA/WPA2-PSK AES/TKIP to JUST WPA2-PSK AES.
