Cant get windows 10 minecraft

Ive done everything even followed a yt video. But whenever i go to buy it, it brings me to x box settings help instead. so i followed those signed in and everything and click to go to the actual settings to make the changes i need. and it just brings me back to the settings help page again. I dont need help i need to change the settings to be able to get minecraft but it wont let me. I got a gamer tag and all. Im using computer but they are making us make a x box acct to get minecraft windows 10

Do you mean your privacy and online safety?

To clarify, do you own Minecraft through the Microsoft store? Are you trying to get your Minecraft game from a windows 10 device to a windows 8 device?

Let us know these details. For now, it is not possible to transfer Minecraft (for windows 10) from a windows 10 device to a windows 8 device.

windows 10 minecraft cant be played on the console. as thats a pc version. you would need to buy the bedrock edition (i believe)
