Can't get to home screen

I am unable to get to my home screen when online. I can access my apps and things by pushing the home button but cannot reach the home screen. It makes the sounds but then goes black. It was working earlier when I was on Netflix but now it isn't working.
I have don't nothing different and tried every restart method I can think of. Nothing has been downloaded. I can access all apps like normal but no home screen.

Also the 'settings' option between 'Notifications' and 'Xbox Assist' is in some weird font.

Help would be appreciated as I cannot for the life of me afford a replacement....

Can't get past home screen

I have tried powering off my Xbox three times already but I cannot get past the home screen. I can go to the right and explore mixer, community, entertainment, and store, but when I press the Xbox button on the controller it comes up with an error code.
And then when I go to the Xbox website for the error code it says there are no forums with this error code. If I can get some help on this I would greatly appreciate it.

 

Can't Go to Home Screen Once in an App

Whenever I am in an app I can't get to the home screen. I press the xbox/home button on my controller and nothing pops up and I can't navigate the screen. I hear the cursor moving as if it was on the home screen but it is not displayed. I have rebooted and
it still prevails.

 

I should also add the 'Settings' tab appears as a dark green. Was that just in an update? Or is that something to do with this issue?

 

I can't access the store for some reason, this is Xbox's biggest blunder.

 

Huh. Can't access the store either.... God damn it.

 

What's worse is that Xbox hasn't given anyone any form of an update as to what is happening. A good company normally informs their customers, especially those who have put their console on the line, some of us insiders don't have enough to buy a whole new
console if they brick our current ones. (Which then in my humble opinion they owe us a new one free of charge)
