can't get the free with gold titles !!!

I tired of this problem!!!

every month since the free games with gold, with the backwards compatibility I can't purchase those titles for free!!

yes I have an xbox live membership for sure, and yes I download the xbox one games free with gold, and even some of backwards compatibility titles, but every month there is a issue, with at least one game!

in december i wasn't able to purchase for free - Flashpoint: Dragon Rising

in november i wasn't able to purchase for free - Dungeon Siege III

and now in first to January I disabled to purchase for free dirt showdown

I try to purchase the game for free from the website, with a working payment option, and Its says that's free and when I click confirm, Its says

"Sorry

Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again."

I tried 20 times, and it doesn't work! My both friends has the same issue,

This is a common problem throughout the world ,I pay money for games that won't be able to play them, so what is the point.

Now I'm afraid DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION won't work like the others

Download 360 games with gold titles when Under 18

Hi There

I have been using games with gold for around a year now on my xbox one, and I was really excited when I found out that the xbox 360 games with gold titles were coming to xbox one too.

When I went to download a 360 title, I discovered that I couldn't download it because i am under 18, and apparently, under 18s cant buy anything from the xbox 360 marketplace, so i can't even get the free games with gold titles.

Has anyone found a way to get the 360 free games if under 18?

Why am I not getting xbox Gold when it says I paid for it? Cant access games!

My concern is in the Title. Im paying for gold rewards when Im unable to get free games with gold. You tell me.

 

OK does your account region match your actual region if not that would be why.

how the region can affect games downloads ?

so what should i do? just choose my real state in the xbox settings ? or add location and all this stuff ?

 

I have the same issue too.

I spent 2 hours on the Microsoft support chat, and nothing they tried with my region account worked, there was no problem with it. It is just the payment platform that doesn't work ...

They ended up saying to me that I need an Xbox 360 to "buy" the free games and after that I would be able to download it on the Xbox ONE.

This is really a problem because since they announced the backward compatibility, I sold my Xbox 360 to buy an Xbox ONE, and now I can't add the Xbox 360 games to my account ...

If someone has a solution ... Because microsoft can't solves this problem for us ...

I contacted support, chat with a guy for 1,5 hours, and after that, the only solution was the same as above: find an xbox 360, and buy the game there... This is just ridiculous. I don't know anyone with a 360, I just want a game, that I paid for... (It's
not a "free" game if you pay $60 per year for it...)

Plus info: I searched for another free game in the Xbox 360 store on the website, and I was able to buy that game. I can't buy Dirt Showdown, hovewer...

 

The solution is to match your account region. To your actual region

And no posts about how to bypass the legal and binding locks are allowed on official forums

Any triple a title with a m rating is garentee to be region locked halo gears of war mostly cod games or fifa even gta

Because of the difference in content laws

 

It affects 80% of the failed downloads because people try for us or UK contents when they aren't physically there

Follow these steps to fix your account region

 

Console region has no barring on account location

However certain games do check for console region.

 

With the 360 games that are backwards compatible to get them on the XB1 console they have to be purchased from the website. You have to look for the one that does have a price with it.

If you click on the one that says bundle only you have to find the other version usually located below.

 

It is quite understandable that people are searching for alternatives.

Microsoft hasn't been honest with it's customers.

I live in Belgium and despite it's unbelievable bad introduction I still bought it because me nephew wanted one.

So what did they do, they delayed it a whole year.

Why you ask, well they did it so they could incorporate dutch language for kinect.

So the launch came and what wasn't there, off course the dutch language and some others.

So the whole thing was a lie !

Another thing you can buy games in the digital game store.

Great you would think at last games are going to be cheaper, no more transport cost, etc...

And then you look at those digital prices and you are ripped off.

To give a example The new tomb raider in the US digital store costs 44.99 $ then you go to the dutch xbox site and hey look at the price 76 $.

Even if you add 21% to the US price you end up at 54 $.

Why Microsoft are you not treating us customers the same?

You cannot expect that customers are going to treat you well if you lie and rip them all the time.

 

I have the same problem now. I already switched back between two payment methods and I receive the exact same error you did. :/

The console regions match. I heard from other forums on the web that you have to log on to an Xbox 360 first and then download the game from there...which is a bummer, I know, especially if you're like me who never owned a 360 and just have the Xbox One.

Hope they get this fixed soon!
