Can't get the free gold game mirror edge?

I tried on phone/lap top/ Xbox one to get the free game Mirrors Edge and it says NO sorry can't process at this time what gives ?

So I recently bought gold but I can't get any of the free gold games for free but I can still join and talk in parties plz help

This is regarding the free gold games and I'm from the philippines with US version xbox. Now problem is that, i can't download some games that are free for gold membership (Rainbow six and now halo). Basically I availed the gold for 1 year knowing that i
can also have those free games every month.. now i can't get some of them. Are there other options to get those games?

I see the problem is the way of buying the old games, it doesn't accept the card from my region.

Same here, I live in Lithuania and it probably doesn't accept the card too. However when i bought forza horizon through gold it was all fine.

 

Lithuania isn't an xbox live region

For the best experience with xbox live your account region must reflect your actual region

 

I am in Mexico at the moment. Would that be the problem? Would a VPN work?

 

I can't download it too. Did not have any issues before that and even downloaded AC. Yesterday I bought Mad Max with my card. There are some issues from time to time. I couldn't buy things from the store for 2-3 months with my card and used prepaid cards,
but just tried out of curiosity with Mad Max and the card was accepted. (I am currently in Europe, non Xbox Live region. )

 

Your cannot use prepaid cards on an xbox one to buy 360 games

You must have a valid payment option

Also fyi no the other method is a violation of the terms of use and can get you banned

 

And most likely won't work Mexico is a valid xbox live region just use your actual region

 

Some xbox 360 games aren't region locked hence why you won't always run into the error xbox one games are region free

 

Just shared my experience. Also if you do not let people use the service that they pay for outside of the listed countries you should not sell your product there. I think it is that simple.

 

You don't seem to understand how it works then

Outside of xbox live regions not all services are supported that doesn't mean that hardware and software can't be sold

If you choose to use any console.including Nintendo or sony or xbox of supported regions it's on you to get your own method of accessing the service it doesn't mean you are supported for online

That's your choice
