cant get smart glass to find xbox one

cant find xbox one on my tab it comes up with cant connect to console and they are on the same network go to enter IP put it in and comes up with cant connect to your console right now (0x000001E) and console is on

My smart glass app works great... for about 2 days and then it fails to connect any longer. Even though it still sees my Xbone it won't connect again until I reset the network and xbox.

I'm looking for a solution other than resetting everything every two days. I'd appreciate any ideas about what is changing on my network every 48 hours or so.

I'm using the xbox one smart glass app on iOS8 through an Asus RT-AC66U router.

 

I cannot be download X1 SmartGlass at 8.1 Surface RT

So at my Windows Surface RT Tablet, i cannot download XboxOne Smart Glass.

The Windows Search Engine cannot found Xbox One Smart Glass, the Serchengine find always only Xbox 360 Smart Glasses. So if i startet Xbox 360 Smart Glasses at my 8.1 RT Tablet, there is a tiles named Xbox One Smart Glasses.

I use a Finger Tip at this Tiles but there is no reaction. For usually the tiles have to open a new Layer for description and the function to be download the X1 Smart Glasses App but there is no reaction.

G'day Draco! Just to verify, I need to ask a silly question: Are you currently logged into the Xbox 360 Smartglass app, or the Smartglass for Xbox One app? To follow up, are you logged into the same profile on both the console and Smartglass? And is your
console on a wired connection to your router, or is it wireless?

 

Check your settings on XboxOne settings page.



From your settings page select "Preferences" now look to the right of page. Make sure you have selected either (from any SmartGlass device) - ( Only From profiles signed in on this Xbox )

If selected is ( Don't allow SmartGlass connection ) your issues should be over once changed and saved!!



So... Settings>Preferences>SmartGlass Connections: only from profiles signed in on this xbox. "That's my preference"

I can't find any XBOX ONE Smartglass app,for my android phone.

But I know there is for the iPhone......

I'm having the same problem, I have done everything people suggest to resolve the issue and nothing has changed.

Got an xbox one smartglass app

Xbox one is set to allow smartglass

I have tuned off the console, unplugged and everything. Redownloaded the app. Tried entering the IP address into the smartglass app.

Nothing!!

Any suggestions.

 

I wrestled with this for awhile myself.

For those of you with D-Link routers, the magic bullet is located at Advanced/Advanced Wireless. UNCHECK WLAN Partition. Pretty straightforward if you look up the setting within online Help -

WLAN Partition

Enabling WLAN Partition prevents associated wireless clients from communicating with each other.

Hope this helps some of you, at least those with D-Link routers. Frustrated the Hell out of me until I found it.

I'm having a similar issue and found a dreadful resolve. Pull the power on the Xbox for about 30 seconds and it should start working again. I don't like this because it happens too often and isn't really solving the problem.

For me personally I use multiple routers, acting as switches so I have wifi through the dead zones in my house(not that is a big house). In order for me to connect to the Xbox I have to switch to the router it is directly plugged into, despite only being
a bridge to the main. I assigned it a static ip, but is till hasn't really helped. It would be nice if that helped.

 

I can't search Xbox One from Lumia 640 DS LTE (with last release of WP8.1) but with Nexus 7 yes.

It by first time of day.

But if I have the console runing, them can find, power off/on.
