Can't get Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Tides of War to run on my Xbox 360

What happens is that after the initial animatons play, and the game menu is supposed to appear, the screen just turns green and freezes. I then have to eject the disc or restart the console to get access to the 360 UI again. I've tried this with two different
disc copies of the game, both in fine condition, and they both get the green screen and freeze. I even tried wiping the HDD, but to no avail. I've played it before on a 360 since it is Backwards Compatible, so I know it should work. Also, I'd like to add that
all the other "OG XBox" games from the BC list have worked fine. Does anyone out there know why this occurs, and if there's a fix? I'd be thankful for any advice on the matter.

Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Tides of War. If this is the only game affected on the Xbox 360, you may need to contact the developer to help report the issue.

I just tested Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on my 360 and it runs fine too.

The only ones that have bad lag so far are The Orange Box (Xbox 360) and Return To Castle Wolfenstein: Tides of War (Xbox original).

I guess it isn't my system, otherwise the Call of Duty games wouldn't work. Is it likely that those lagging games are just the way they are? Is it how they were developed?

Like I said in the first post: I wiped the HDD. I then re-downloaded my profile, games and updates..

The game disc was made in the early 2000's and used to run fine on 360 hardware until recently. That tells me the problem is something at Microsoft's end tbh. And if you know the game isn't working, and have no intention of fixing the problem, it should
probably not be listed in the Backwards Compatibility library.
