    Can't get past the home screen.


    After powering up my Xbox One today, I was unable to get past the home screen. When trying to sign in, load up games, go to the settings, etc. I got to the first part of it loading, then I got an error message reading:

    'For some reason [settings, Fifa 14, etc.] has taken too long to start. 0x8027025a' - Imgur: The magic of the Internet - It is the same as this but instead of 'TV' it is just whatever I am trying to go to.

    After this message has came up, it redirects me straight back to the home screen. I have looked around the internet for a while and I was unable to find any problems the same.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Can't get past home screen

    I have tried powering off my Xbox three times already but I cannot get past the home screen. I can go to the right and explore mixer, community, entertainment, and store, but when I press the Xbox button on the controller it comes up with an error code.
    And then when I go to the Xbox website for the error code it says there are no forums with this error code. If I can get some help on this I would greatly appreciate it.

    Game won't start as of 12/31/2013 Xbox One

    Wth EA !?! Game as at least loaded and somewhat played but now I can't get past the splash screen before it goes back to home screen on Xbox One!

    Can't get past the home screen.

    1: Push the console power button for 5-10 seconds until I turns off

    2: Unplug the power cord from the console - (has to be from the console)

    3: Wait 30 seconds

    4: Plug back in and power up console with button

    Should hopefully be working okay now. If not let us know Can't get past the home screen. :)

    Happened to me yesterday for several hours. I uninstalled, then reinstalled, and eventually it worked.

    If the above ideas don't help, try this. I lost one save point, about 15 min. worth of gameplay.

    Yep. I'm stuck too. There are a couple other people that responded to the twitter account that announced the patch that are having the same problem. Awesome.

    I had this problem too. A hard reset (touch the power button on the console for 10 seconds) fixed it.

    I've explored the port forward option, and I'm considering a router upgrade. quick update, now the unit can't get past the initial boot screen. I can't believe that this is NAT related. It should at least make it to the home screen, Internet or not
