cant get on to the internet on wired connection xbox360

i cant seam to connect to the internet on my xbox 360 i can get as far the network then she dies i have tried alot of things with customer support but i seam to get no where with them not through lack of them trying every thing that they can. does any one
have and ideas i plug that connection in to something eles and it works my modem is the Vodafone station any one else had theses prob or no how to connect cheers

Xbox 1 not connecting to internet wirelessly or wired?

I just picked up my day 1 edition and Im going through the initial setup but I cant get past the internet connection portion. I have tried both wired and wirelessly but none work. Wired should pick it right up. It works fine on my pc,laptop, and xbox 360
but not my xbox 1. I cant do anything with my Xbox 1 until i get it connected to internet.

 

Cant connect to the internet

So I just moved in to college and I had no internet all summer so I was unable to play on my xbox much. I plug everything in and it wont connect to the internet here. Im using a wired connection, I had no problems connecting last year and now it wont
connect. I can connect to the internet with the wired connection on my computer just fine. But on the xbox it only connects to the network, not the internet. Any ideas?

Are you using wireless or ethernet to connect?

 

Ok, thanks for the info. Sorry I seem to have missed that in your original post.

Do you have a router between the modem and your console? If so please try a direct connection to the modem.
