Can't get oblivion to work on Xbox one

    Can't get oblivion to work on Xbox one


    I bought an oblivion disc for the 360. I tried putting it in my Xbox one but it won't play. It says that it is not one of the backward compatible games but I know that it is. Any idea why it won't work?

    How Will "The Elder Scrolls Online" Make You Pay?

    Played the beta and thought it played very similar to oblivion and skyrim. Hate how treasure chests work you have to find a remote one that no one knows about or hope that the person that gets there before you can't open the lock to have a chance at the
    loot.

    Can't get SSD to work.

    Hi

    The external hard drive need to at least meet the specifications listed
    here     to allow it to be used for games.

    The basic requirements for storing games and apps on an external drive are:

    • Has capacity of 256 GB or more, and
    • Uses USB 3.0.

    Hey there OG 8 0002420,

    It's possible that the disc is dirty or damaged and the console is having an issue reading it. Is this a GOTY edition of Oblivion or just the standard version? Have you tried to powercycle the Xbox One console to see if that helps?

    It worked for me. It's kind of like the one for Oblivion which you can select a type of objective and locate them all. That one I kept a print out of Oblivion Gates so I kind of knew where to look for them and Ayleid wells and wayshrines neither of which
    would show up on the in game map. I haven't tried printing this one yet but it is definitely a help since I get frustrated when i see something on my compass but can't tell how close I am and whether it's on the other side of the mountain.
