    Can't get Oblivion DLC Nights of the Nine to work.


    I have the Oblivion game of the year addition for Xbox 360. I installed it on my Xbox one, and everything was fine. Both DLCs that come on that disk installed and were usable, Shivering Isles, and Nights of the Nine. I played through most of the game
    with no problems. I then started the Nights of the Nine campaign, made it past where you had to pray at all the wayshrines.

    The next time I loaded the game, it says something like content in my save games may be missing, and the whole Nights of the Nine DLC is missing. When I check under downloads in game it is missing from the list. When I go to manage game, it still shows
    up as being installed, but it is updating and never completes that update.

    I have tried most of the common fixes for this, I have even uninstalled the whole game and reinstalled. The base game and the shivering isles installed just fine, but nights of the nine immediately went back into updating status. It shows 126 MB of 126
    MB, but never actually completes the update. It's kind of a bummer since I have put so much time into the game, I'd like to be able to play that DLC.

    Any help would be great!

    I do enjoy those little extra DLCs.

    This discussion drove me back into Oblivion.

    At nine hours into a new character now. Working the KotN questline first.

    I'd rather something new, unless it was extra items from Oblivion (but I'd rather that was side DLC, not a major one, obviously).

    If you like the series, yes.



    It's similar to Skyrim in terms of gameplay, there are loads of quests to do and you level up in a similar fashion though there are no perks. The only real differences are the graphics (which are okay) and there are no dragons or dragon shouts. There
    are more spells to cast however, including night-eye.



    It's up to you really. Oblivion is a great game and has some great DLC too. If you do decide to buy, get the G.O.T.Y. edition as this has the two best DLC packs - Knights of the Nine and The Shivering Isles.

    Oblivion had a ton of DLC, more than any game I know. Horse Armor, Shivering Isles, Knights of the Nine, The Orrery, Thieves Den, Battlehorn Castle, Mehrunes Razor, Spell Tomes and the Wizards Tower. Most of these were small and could be beaten in minutes,
    some up to an hour, then Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles +1 hour. But the smaller ones had benefits you wouldn't even be able to think of. The Oblivion DLC was beneficial as stated, compared to to the Fallout 3 DLC where it was about exploring other
    parts of the Wasteland... oh how I miss that game.

    Just to correct something that keeps being repeated:

    There is no version of Oblivion on console that you an purchase with all DLC included.

    There are the Game of the Year and Aniversary editions of the game that have the two biggest DLC, Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles, included... But the other 8 DLC are not included in any edition.
