    Cant get notifications or play friends games.


    For a long time now I have not been getting notifications when somebody sends me a message. I also can't join any of my friends games. I have tried to hard reset and it has not worked. Also tried turning notifications on and off. Please help me!!!

    cannot receive game invites/messages

    I can't get notifications for game invites and messages. My nat type is open and notifications are on. Also my friends cant get my game invites.

    Notifications vanishing

    I cant get notifications anymore. They pop up on my screen and i cant click them after they go off there aren't in notifications. Friend requests,party invites, nothing, it pops up on my screen for a few seconds and than vanishes.

    Cant get notifications or play friends games.

    This can be connected to multiple different issues, if you are more recently having this problem but did not have the problem in the past then it could be due to network issues (home network or Xbox live network) and can also be due to your privacy settings
    and preferences that you have setup on your Xbox.

    When I had high privacy I had issues joining friends games and they would have issues joining me and certain notification (well all of them at one point) didn't appear also due to privacy settings. If you have turned off notifications in your preferences
    this can also cause an issue with seeings the notifications so ensure that you have them turned on there. Check your privacy when it comes to online interactions and ensure that you are not set to completely private or you may continue to have an issue.

    If neither of these are a problem I would then look at your home network and make sure your firewall isn't preventing you from interacting online using your Xbox.

    Same here. I no longer get notifications when friends come online. I only get notifications when a friend is playing the same game as me. Msg notifications and party invites works fine, but it's kinda annoying if you're playing a different game waiting for
    your friends to come online.

    I don't like the fact that they imply people want to play with friends. I get so many notifications that don't mean anything. They are very annoying. I get a message thing that seems like someone sent me a party invite, but its just crap. I don't care that
    so in so started playing a game. the "Friends playing this game" notification is enough for me. Just get rid of these useless notifications.

    the friends list is so cluttered with information... it is there... but a notification would be nice (even though we get too many of the anyways) if a friend starts playing a game I am already playing

    How long, does the light flash for..?? Is it constantly flashing or does it flash about 6-7 times & it stops... Everytime, you get a notification.. [ie one of your friends logs on or you get a message..] The lights, on the Controller/s & Console, will flash
    until all notifications have stopped...

    You could be getting a notification when you start game.. For how many friends online, what friends are playing MW3 & Lights will flash etc...
