Can't get my Xbox One to turn on very well, sometimes not at all.

I don't play my Xbox One a lot, every few days or maybe don't turn it on for a week. When i try to turn it on though i have a very hard time getting it to boot up. I always try to use voice to turn it on and nothing. I try to use the controller and nothing.
I even push the button on the xbox one and nothing. Its like its unplugged or something, but its not. It does this every time just about. Eventually i unplug it from the surge protector for 10 sec and then it will work, but its very frustrating and annoying
since its suppose to turn on by voice. If i try to turn it on later in the day or the next day voice works just fine but when i let it sit off a couple days or longer i have to unplug it for 10 sec for it to boot up. Anyone else have this problem? Is something
faulty?? I just don't want it to go out of warranty and not be able to replace anything. Any support would be appreciated.

Connection issues

still having issues. can't connect to my friends party but I can sometime get into the game to play. now it will randomly disconnect from Xbox live for 1 second and then reconnect like it never happened. I just tried port forwarding and DMZ. when I first
turn on the console the connection is weak but very slowly gets better and then sometimes I get issues and sometimes I don't. my 360, pcs, and android devices can connect with out any issues at all.

 

Xbox One starting on its own!

Hi all,

for some days now, my Xbox One randomly turns itself on, sometimes even at night when I don't notice. My TV recognizes the Xbox and will thus turn on as well. I am kinda helpless because I do not have the slightest clue why this is happening.

I can't just pull the plug and put it in the socket when needed, since it is behind the furniture.

Really hoping to find a solution..

I noticed you stated that you unplug it from a surge protector. Have you tried plugging the Xbox directly into the wall outlet? The Xbox One power supply has a built in surge protector and is intended to be plugged directly into the wall outlet. The surge
protector you have could be causing issues supplying enough power to the console.
