Can’t get my screen to fit right????

I have a Mitsubishi (Model WD-73738) TV that seems to only have 3 different screen sizes. The smallest one is STILL too big. Is there anything I can do to fix this or is there a way around it? It really sucks because I can’t enjoy any of my games properly.
I’ve been mostly guessing whats on the bottom and the sides. Please help!

I have a 10 year old TV as well for my second Xbox my kids use. Unfortunately a small part of my screen is always cut off. :/

There's really no way to fix it other than getting a new TV.

Oh, best solution it's have a new TV. You can find now more chip models to support best resolution on it.

Double check that any zoom or magnify settings are disabled. Might be easier to restore defaults than fine the setting.

With some games you can go into game settings and optimise adjust screen to fit suggest you check games settings

You should go into the settings of the game, because a lot of games let you adjust the game image to your screen. You would think that they would all automatically fit whatever tv or monitor that you are using, but there are some that just seem blown
up so that you need to size them down. It's not like you have this issue when watching a DVD, so why would a game be different? That's a rhetorical question BTW.
