Can't get my NAT strict to open

I can't get my NAT open. I've tried everything.

Here is my information:

What Country/State/Province do you live in? Finland

Modem brand & model number: ZTE MF93D

Router brand & model number: -

How many Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles are connected to this router?: 1 Xbox One and 1 Xbox 360, but one at the time. Other one is turned off.

Wired or Wireless (for each console): Wireless

Things you have tried: Port fowarding, UPnP and DMZ

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/No/Unknown: Now it is.

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?: Strict. It says my network is behind portsymmetric NAT.

Any Error Codes you encounter: Nope.

Who is your ISP? (Internet Service Provider): DNA

I've tried also resetting my modem to factory defaults and doing port fowards, UPnP and DMZ afterwards. I've tried also wired connection from my computer to router to Xbox One. Neither these didin't change anything, still strict. I've checked my
WAN IP and my IP and they matched. After some time it changes, but still matches to each other. And I only want Xbox One NAT open, Xbox 360 is not so important.

xbox one still has a strict NAT with DMZ host

I've put my xbox one ( connected wireless) in the DMZ host and it still has a strict nat. It was open at first, but when i checked back about a hour later it said strict.So i disabled the dmz, still strict nat. i can't port forward because my second xbox1
(connected hardwired) is already port forwarded. Is there a way to get an open nat?

i may got a solution To resolve your multiplayer game issue, it will be necessary to recheck your NAT type after each solution we try. These are the steps you’ll need to take to refresh and retest your NAT type:

1.Scroll left from Home to open the guide.

2.Select Settings.

3.Select Restart console. Then confirm the restart by selecting Yes.

4.After the console completes its restart, scroll left from Home to open the guide.

5.Select Settings.

6.Select All Settings.

7.Select Network.

8.Select Network Settings.

First lets try to rule out some of the most basic causes of a strict NAT.

1. Is your console wired or wireless - In some cases the network strength can be the problem, and easiest fix! (please wire the Xbox directly to router)

2. If making sure you have the best possible network connection did not help, please refer to the following forum post: forums.xbox.com/.../1989383.aspx

 

That modem is a 4G hotspot device ? If so , the NAT is probably coming from the isp 4g setup ...private ip address or public ?

I did that each time I tried port fowarding, UPnP or DMZ. I made multiplayer test and when the information comes to screen I pressed LB+RB+LT+LB, but didn't work.

Singal strenght isn't problem, modem is 5 meters away from Xbox. I will look closer that post you linked tomorrow.

Yes, it is. 4g hotspot which works like phones 4g mobile network. It could be that my ISP is reason why my NAT is strict.

Hi Tompsa,

Part from the fact that your 4G router performs NAT, your service provider is probably also doing NAT. This would explain the more restrictive type of NAT behaviour that your console get diagnosed with.

Try contact your ISP and have them know about your situation, and if they have the option to offer you a public/routable IP address.

Today I called my ISP and they said my device may have inside NAT which makes my NAT strict. I will borrow other device from my friend and test it. I will tell the results then.

 

I tested with other modem/hotspot and it worked. ZTE MF93D hotspot has NAT inside it.
