    Can't get my movies to play in hd


    I can't watch movies that I have purchased and watched in had fine on my 360. But I just got xbox 1. And the movies won't come in had. Everything else games and espn app work great. But not downloaded movies.

    Hello Help me please ??? My ext hd movie plAyer do not work My Xbox player sees my hd player. If I want to Play a original hd movie do not want to start when I want to start the movie ??? What can i do ?

    how do i play hd dvds with the new xbox 360 layout?

    i have a hd dvd player for my xbox 360, before the new layout a window use to appear that said play movie.

    Since I updated to the new layout i can't find how to play my movies.

    Movie Argo won't play, rented as a download. Error code: c00d36c4

    Downloaded Argo in HD for Rental. Will not play when selected, I get a Preview, won't play the movie. Waste of $$$!

    @ctrlshiftb I got no problem with video. But I can't get surround sound (dts or dts hd) to passtrough my x1 to my avr. I get no sound when my movie is in dts. Sorry I think i kinda hijacked the thread :(

    HD-DVD not working now...

    My HD DVD player no longer plays HD DVDs after the latest update. It still plays DVDs. With HD DVDs it starts to load the movie, then crashes back to the XBOX home screen. Anyone have any useful tips?

    Thanks Daniel, I'll give them a call! We upgraded to infinity to stream movies from the xbox in HD and now we can't even get the xbox connected :(

    New Netflix App 480SD

    Bump, I have the same issue. Since the "new" look update I haven't been able to get more than 480SD.

    My setup is Xbox through component to HD LCD @ 1080p.

    Before the update when the app had bars and the "HD" logo, my LCD would change to 1080i via the xbox and run HD signal once I started a movie.

    After the update, I play a HD movie and I no longer get the switch to 1080i. It just starts buffering right away and then it will stay at 480SD. Never goes above that. My netflix is set to High output setting in my account. I've uninstalled the app and
    logged back in with no luck.

    Anyone...
