Can't get minecraft update

Discus and support Can't get minecraft update in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; i have a digital copy of minecraft and i downloaded the app xbox insider hub and i go to get it and won't let me get it unless I buy it any help with...     How many of you are actually playing this game FOR THE FIRST TIME?

    First time Minecrafter here. Can't wait for the updates to get it up to speed with the PC version.

    I can't get the new Minecraft update

    Hi! So, I've been having an issue with an Xbox One game as of recently. You see, on the game Minecraft Xbox One edition, A pop-up appeared around 3 weeks ago. It said I could get a new update free if I was eligible, which I was. Fast forward three weeks
    and it is now past the expiration date, and I am still not able to download the update. I even joined the beta program via Xbox Insider, to see if that would work, which it did not. The ready to install option is also empty. So, how would I go about fixing
    this issue? Thanks in advance!

    EDIT: I have surpassed the 5 hour requirement.

    I'm having the same issue. I was just playing minecraft today. I saw the update and it wouldn't let me update so I uninstalled minecraft to see if it would install the update when I reinstalled the game and now can't download minecraft at all.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    Kindly perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

    " 1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."

    After that check if there will be an improvement.
