Can't get Microsoft Jigsaw to open.

When I try to load Microsoft Jigsaw Deluxe it just sets there, trying to download. I cannot open no matter how long I wait. I am current on my account, as far as I know. Everything a payment due comes up on the account, I authorize payment. I would really
appreciate your help. Thank you.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. Sorry for the issue that you are having. Have you tried just to power off the PC completely? You can also go to

Microsoft casual games community the community there is for just the casual games and are very helpful.

I found this by accident.

Close MS Jigsaw

Go to settings

Click on privacy

Click on background apps

TURN ON Microsoft Jigsaw

Open MS Jigsaw and try downloading again.

Now I can downloading.

Same problem with Jigsaw - Solitaire works, but not Jigsaw on Surface 4 in the past week. Xbox customer help can't solve it as this is a 'games on windows' problem, they say. Microsoft Answer Desk can't help. And Jigsaw works fine on a Dell Win 10 platform,
so it's something about Jigsaw communicating with the xbox registry server on the Surface 4.

Let's try uninstalling Microsoft Jigsaw, restart your PC, and then re-install it. Once it's reinstalled, make sure you signed in with your correct Microsoft account.

Same problem over here...

I can't open the daily chalenges. its start loading but automaticly closes jigsaw.

other things seem to work normal.

the other microsoft games are working normal (minesweep, solitair, mahjongh)
