can't get Live on My daughters Xbox

I didn't have a problem until yesterday. I can turn my xbox on and wait for whatever to load and then when I go to sign in to my profile, my daughters profile or even to add new profile - a grey box pops up and then disappears and we can't do anything
else. So I can't get on xbox live to get to system settings or anything.

Not wishing to speak for the OP , but this doesn't address the crux of the matter, and I'm in exactly the same position. My daughter is a Family Member in my XBOX Live Gold account but there seems to be no way for her to get access to XBOX Live Music; she
can't buy a pass, so the only option is to log on as me, which impacts by number of managed devices.

This is highly unsatisfying ....

My son and daughter each have their own xbox one console.

My daughter has never had xbox live, but my son has been an xbox live member for years.

My daughter game shares with my son. Does this affect eligibility?

If it does, i dont see why the offer even appeared in my daughters dashboard, thats kind of false adverstising.

So happy I found you guys talking about it for four hours I've been trying everything. One min and my daughter were playing call of duty ghost the next we can't get on Xbox live on my or her Xbox. We're in us east coast, providence ri it's now 6:46 am and
still can't get on anyone knew if it's fixed yet thanks everyone

So the only way to get my daughter on xbox live gold on her machine and still allow the other users of our home xbox live gold access would be to purchase a seperate gold subscription?
