Can't get kids access to Minecraft Java on their PCs with my purchased Minecraft Java...

Minecraft Java Edition can be purchased from thier store page using your Microsoft Account:

And then being accessed with the (free) Minecraft Launcher on the Microsoft Store.

Both Windows and Java Editions are included with Xbox Game Pass for PC/Ultimate subscription.

you don't get access to the java version of minecraft with gamepass. you must purchase the java version on the mojang website.

How do I download the executable? I landed on this page: Get Minecraft | Minecraft
Then selected Java edition, which is the version I purchased. It leads to this page which ask me to purchase.

PS. I'm doing all these steps using my account, while the game was purchased with my kid's account.
