cant get epic games off my computer. wont let me uninstall it

Have you checked your task manager if it's currently running?

Press “CTRL” + “ALT” + “DEL” on your keyboard.

Once the task manager is opened, you need to find “EpicGamesLauncher”.

Right-click “EpicGamesLauncher” to open the menu.

The menu contains multiple options including “Expand”, “Switch to”, “End task”, and more.

when trying to link my xbox account with epic games I get an error that does not let me link the account, can someone help me?

Not sure what the problem is though, but if your on Mac, then I don't think Microsoft accounts can link to Macintosh computers.

It may be possible that the account is corrupted, or it just wont let you do it.

Have you tried logging in and out of your Microsoft account on the PC you want to install onto?

Are you trying to install the game from the Microsoft store listing or from your library? You might have better luck going to your library and downloading it that way so the app recognizes your current computer instead of your old laptop.

Found this thread while searching for the same problem with the stupid zoo tycoon demo. I cant get it out of my ready to install list. Every other game was hidden with no problems. It wont even let me re-install it to try and uninstall again....

No thanks to a factory reset.

There has to be another way
