    Can’t get codes or recover account either


    I Just Bought An Xbox Series X and I played with it for 2 days and haven’t set a pin yet and just used Microsoft.com/link to login and now when I try to login now it says I requested too many codes and try again later and it’s been 48 hours and it’s still the same and when I try to recover my account it says I didn’t provide enough info to prove that the account is mine and try again and when I did it says I tried to recover my account too many times and try tomorrow. I don’t know what to do

    The only alternative you have at this time is to submit the account recovery form:

    The first thing is to enter information that the account has, in case a phone number or card has been deleted, you should simply omit that information and not add it to the form. That said, you can enter the following link:

    Please note that Xbox support cannot help recover accounts, but in that case, if you want to contact them and talk in a live chat for more detailed information, you can access the link below.

    If you don't succeed and it keeps telling you that you have made many attempts, wait a few days and try again, it should be noted that there is no other way friend, so if you don't succeed, all you have to do is accept. That counts as lost unless you keep pushing.

    Remember that this is a public forum of the Microsoft community where we are players like you who try to help/guide other players to find the solution to the problems they are experiencing, however we do not belong to Microsoft, this means that we do not have access to the accounts or information of other players.

    Can't remember my email associated with my account?

    If the agent can't get a security code by either the phone number or email on file, and obviously they can't sign into their Microsoft Account because they don't know the email so verifyme.Microsoft.com is not an option either, then the agent wont be able
    to recover the account either.

    Hey so i have a similar question but i couldn’t figure out how to post without reply, I recently had to factory reset my xbox. Due to this reset all my accounts were wiped off of the console, I know the email for one account but not for the other. Also
    the phone I used on my 2nd account is no longer active so I have no way to sign in to change it because I dont know the email please help I have a lot of saved data on my 2nd account and absolutely no way to access it.

    If the purchase was a subscription, you will need to get in touch with our live agents as they can help you with the refund. However, If the purchase is a game or a DLC... you will need to get access to your account request a refund here: Request a refund.

    Please bare in mind that the Microsoft Account Recovery form is the only way you can recover an account. I understand that this is not the answer you were looking for, but it is the only valid answer. If you contact Microsoft support you will be told the same thing. Microsoft Support cannot reset your password or provide a link to reset your password.

    Help with the Microsoft account recovery form.

    I suggest you try to fill out the account recovery form again. It is possible to fill the form twice a day. If you are having trouble with the recovery request, you can always create a new account and try again later when you remember something new that might help.

    In the online form, you will be asked about the subject lines of the emails you have recently sent from your account, your date of birth, your credit card information and other details that only you can know. You don't need to know all the answers. If you don't know the exact answer, just give a close answer.
