Cant get back into old minecraft account

So I cant get anything back? It was an 8 year old account with over 1000$ in purchases

Not only that, but as you don’t recall the email address, you may want to try recovering your account by submitting the account recovery form but using instead a previously linked phone number or previously created Skype username, which is not the same as our gamertag.

Besides that, I find it appropriate to mention that it is not possible to unlink a third party account from the Microsoft side of things. The process always needs to be done in the third party account linked accounts management site.

sign in to the store with the old account, download minecraft and then sign out and back in with the new account, then you can play minecraft without repurchasing it.

Do you have a console that has ever had the Profile in question on it before?

If not you will have to try and remember some of the answers to those questions on the account recovery form.

If you do have a console that has had that profile on it previously AND have received the email from the account recovery team that you have not provided them with enough information you can contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and
have them do a forgotten password escalation where they will ask for information about the account and the console that it was on previously and then the escalations team will look at those answers to see if there was enough of them correct and if so then
they would send you a link to reset your password.

If it is an offline profile from an Xbox 360 console, you need to make it an online profile first: http://support.xbox.com/my-account/manage-gamertag-and-profile/offline-profile-to-gamertag

If it already is, you might have used a wrong email address associated which is the reason why you were given a new profile.
