Can't finish multiplayer tests (Please help!)

Hello,

My Xbox One will not play Titanfall to save its life. I have followed all the steps online and created a static IP to see if that would work ,nothing. Everything else works fine (Netflix, Forza etc.) only Titanfall won't work.

While trying to figure it out I found the "Test Mulitplayer Connection" option in the Network section of Settings. When I click this it runs for a while then says:

"Can't finish multiplayer tests" Back up and try again. If it still doesn't work, there may be a problem with your network. (0x1fbf)

I have a great internet connection, no issues with speed. I have a close to new Linksys router, NAT Open, IPSec enabled, DMZ enabled.

Any suggestions for help would be fantastic!

its been working the last two days so as long as that keeps up no issues. What happens is when i turn it to manual and change dns servers it says the dns isnt resolving xbox server names

Hello I've got the same internet and the same issue. I'm glad you posted what you tried. I was about to do the same thing. Unfortunately I believe its something to do with at&t at this point. So I'm guessing we need to call them and figure out a solution.

 

Have u check everything plug in right?

 

Yes, everything is plugged in correctly.

 

Well I would reset everything to factory...(router should NOT have to be in DMZ for this to work) and try with a wired connection......wired is ALWAYS better/more stable anyway imo .....move it if you have to to test it , then I would consider running some
cable (its cheap if you get it at the right place)

I test Multiplayer it have a error massage " Can't finish multiplayer tests" but some time I will test it again it's all good but I can't play multiplayer games

I can't play any multiplayer games Call of Duty Ghost, Battlefield 4 and they have a error massages.

Call of Duty Ghost

"you must have an active network connection to play xbox live matches"

Battlefield 4

"You have lost connection to EA servers, online features will be unavailable"

 

@Bimnog I tried doing it wired...other then my download speed going from 18 to 28 nothing changed...still didn't work. Also want to say that Forza 5 is still working just fine with online multiplayer...seems to be only Titanfall

Any other suggestions?!

 

No , not really.....you said you had changed some settings in your router , last thing I would try would be reset the router to factory defaults and reset the Xbox one to factory defaults on the network and go through the "setup wired network " again.....

 

Yep, that's the last thing I haven't tried, is resetting everything and then doing the wired connection. I will try it tonight.

 

This a old thread. And the OP have not come back to tell the last thing he or she tried.
