    Can't finish multiplayer tests on xbox one


    Hi I am having trouble connecting to Xbox live on the Xbox one. Originally I could not get an open NAT type so I tried port triggering, port forwarding, lowering the security settings of the router and static ips. Eventually the NAT type changed to Open
    but I still can not connect to xbox live. The Test Network Connection says I am connected to the internet. The detailed network statistics shows that my download speed is 21.31 Mbps, my latency is 80ms and a packet loss of 14%. Nothing is displayed below MTU
    and upload speed. When I do the multiplayer connection test it says "Can't finish multiplayer tests." I called Verizon about the problem but they told me to ask someone from Xbox. Do you know how this can be fixed?

    its been working the last two days so as long as that keeps up no issues. What happens is when i turn it to manual and change dns servers it says the dns isnt resolving xbox server names

    Hello I've got the same internet and the same issue. I'm glad you posted what you tried. I was about to do the same thing. Unfortunately I believe its something to do with at&t at this point. So I'm guessing we need to call them and figure out a solution.

    Please clarify.

    Is the situation the exact same when you switch the DNS (doesn't work at all?) or are you not able to set it to automatic and add a different one?

    please let me know. (If you are able to reset the DNS to auto then set up the DNS 1.1.1.1/1.0.0.1)

    Inhave this same issue. Are u using the att homebase ? Xbox wont allow me to change the dns server did u do it another way been killing me lol

    I’ve already done the port forwarding myself, though given that it’s a pocket wifi, I may have to check with the ISP. Will keep you updated!
