Cant find the settings to connefct to Smart Glass

Smartglass app sais go to settings, system, console settings, connected devices but when i go to settings on my xbox one its settings, system, and then it just shows name, console info, restore factory defaults..

Smart Glass on Surface Pro

I am having problems connecting my xbox 360 Smart Glass app on my Surface Pro. They are both logged on to the same account. It says that my device cant find the console. When I go to the main screen of the app it can tell the last game I was playing. The
Xbox Smart Glass app is turned on in system settings. Please advise.

 

Xbox-One Problem

Sounds like somebody is connecting to your Xbox one via smart glass. Go into your Xbox one setting and disable the setting that allows any smart glass device to connect to your console.

 

It should connect from your device. Push connect on smartglass and you should see your console. When it's turned on that is. It should just connect!

 

Pretty sure I just signed into my Smart Glass, turned on my X1 and then selected Connect to Xbox One in Smart Glass?

As long as they are on teh same network (WiFi) then it should auto connect after that.

 

make sure you have XB1 smartglass... not the 360 version

Ahh maybe i have the 360 version silly me hahahaha

Seen it happen a few times....

 

You have to have your phone/ tablet connected to the same wifi your xbo is connected also.
