Can't Find the E-Mail Address Associated With One of My Profiles

A while back I replaced my original 360 with a "slim" model. I used a cable to transfer everything off the old console to the new one.

My son cant log into his profile, and I cant remember which email address we used to create the profile. Not a big deal, but it would be

nice if he could use the games I paid for. Anyone know how I can figure this out?

I want my sons gamer profile moved from my email to his. I want to be able to create my own

The Gamer tag ######### is currently associated with my e-mail address... I want it moved and associated with his e-mail address so I can use my e-mail address, profile, and newly created Gamer tag for my three windows 10 machines, my Xbox 360 and my Xbox
one S allowing me to synch my music Netflix, etc with all my devices.

E-mail address

Not sure which forum to put this.

Anyway, my account got hacked, so I set up a temp e-mail address whilst I got a new e-mail account sorted.

I've changed the e-mail address associated with my account however, ALL Xbox Live Reward e-mails go to the temporary e-mail address, and are not going to do the new one.

I can't seem to find anywhere to change the e-mail address with the Reward scheme to match the new one.

The temp one was a work one, obviously I don't want it to continue, how do I get it changed?

Sorry to hear it. If you've forgotten the email address associated with your gamertag please give phone support a call. If you can answer some account specific questions they will give you the email for the account.

So if I want to associate an e-mail address with a profile on the Xbox, it has to be a different e-mail address than one already established with a Live account?

This does suggest Microsoft account is associated with the wrong email. What I would do is on the Xbox with the Gamertag you believe is the right one is check the E-mail address associated with it. A Gamertag is associated with a Microsoft Account but
the E-mail address that is associated with a Microsoft Account\E-mail address can change. Hope that helps and makes sense.

Hello, your "profile" is your "gamertag" if it was an online profile. If you had a different gamertag previously, from the looks of your post I'm guessing it was "Roguemant". You will need to download your profile using the e-mail and password associated
with that account. If you can't remember what that e-mail address is you will need to contact phone support and speak with them about this.

Each gamertag can only have one e-mail attached to it, so you would need to use the e-mail associated with the gamertag "Roguemant" to be able to download that "profile" to your XBOX 360 console. If you have access to your previous XBOX still and that that
account is still accessible on that console you will be able to view what e-mail is on that gamertag by going to the XBOX 360 Dashboard > Settings > Account > Manage > Windows Live ID. The e-mail should be listed there, login with that e-mail.

When you get this error saying that the account is associated with a different LIVE profile this means that you have a gamertag associated with that e-mail address. You more than likely have logged into Xbox.com or another Microsoft service which made you a
randomly generated gamertag automatically.

If you wish to make your offline profile into an online one, you'd need to use an e-mail address that isn't associated with a LIVE account currently.

Alternatively, if you're set on using this specific e-mail address for that account then you'd need to
follow the instructions here to disassociate the e-mail from that gamertag that's currently
on that account.

Hello,

Xbox Support will not be able to give you the e-mail associated with the gamertag unless you can provide them with enough information to go on. If they are unable to verify who you are they will not just give you an e-mail address.

There's unfortunately no other way around this. You would need to go through your old e-mail addresses and do a search for any sort of e-mails that were related to the old gamertag. That would be the only way you'd be able to find out the e-mail associated
with the account.
