Can't find Teredo IP.

Ok so I've extensively troubleshooted this problem (as I am IT and network problems I normally deal with) and have found it's the Xbox that has the problem, not my router. I went to another person's house (he has an xbox one, turned it off while I was there
to test) and the same exact thing happened. Tried it at a third person's house for good measure.

I can go online, but I can't use any multiplayer services, even netflix. (crunchyroll for some reason works perfectly fine). Again, it's not my router.

-I have put alternate mac address and powercycle, didn't work.

-I have tried automatic Ip, gateway, dns and all that, didn't work.

-There is no ipv6 or teredo tunneling option in my router settings

-My network status says all services are available, with it's lies )=.

-I've tried port forwarding (it's not the router).

-I've reset Unppnpnpnpppnp (however it's spelled), nothing. It's off right now with the ports forwards enabled.

-Reset my NAT table (with the alternate mac address)....nothing.

If anyone could suggest a solution I'm all ears.

Can't find Teredo IP address

This week suddenly could not join multiplayer game. Checked connection and received "Can't find Teredo IP address" curious how this can just happen overnight. Have same ISP and they have changed nothing that I can see on the network. Contacting to them be
sure, but seems odd My Xbox One all of the sudden has a NAT issue.

"Can't find Teredo IP address"

I was playing fine then I switche parties and bam, Network settings are blocking party chat. i check it out and it says that they "cant find a teredo ip address". unplugging everything didnt help but then the next step is to make sure UDP port 3544 isnt
blocked. Well, I have no clue what that is so i skipped it. Then i did all this other stuff having to do with IP addresses and it turned out i think i have to call my service provider. They first said that if I didnt change anything than nothing should have
happened. i said ok and eneded the call. It probably does have soemthing to do with my ISP (charter) but i would prefer not to have to call them unless it comes to that. Anyone have any idea how to fix this. I will answer any questions you need.

Hi taj313, I have the exact same problem, no multiplayer and no Netflix.

My achievements are not popping either.

And I'm pretty sure the issue is not on my LAN or WAN either.

Must be something with the Live servers that are causing this.

Hi, I was able to fix my issues by doing a factory reset on my Xbox.

Same and when I reinstalled it finally now my Xbox said the servers were down. Now the servers are finally up and its saying something about a Teredo IP address. I looked it up , enabled teredo, and enabled Ipv6 and still can't find a Teredo IP address
this is so annoying

Hi! My name is Ben a fellow member here in the community and hope you are doing well!

As a fellow gamer, I also experienced this but on your case it is strange specially if you have requested to open the ports already. Let us try to do some further troubleshooting, I suggest to try this step by step:

Step 1: Sign out of your Xbox one account but make sure to remember the email address you are using for your gamertag.

Step 2: Turn off console and remove all wires connected on your Xbox console, including power supply, HDMI, etc.

Step 3: Wait for 2 minutes before you plug everything in and turn on console.

Step 4: Plug in all wires after 2 minutes then turn on console

Step 5: Go to your settings again > Network then test your multiplayer connection.

If it says it is good to go, you should be able to play multiplayer now. I suggest to try it step by step after you have enabled the ports required for Xbox.

Feel free to post back here to let us know if there are still problems and we will try with the best of our knowledge to assist.

One of the things that can help with this is doing a full
factory reset of your console. I know this isn't ideal but this is one of the troubleshooting steps for fixing the teredo IP. If that still doesn't work, you'll need to reach back out to your ISP for further assistance and guidance.

I am not sure whether it is really that important but since it is what Xbox has recommended even posted on their page, I made sure to submit all these to my internet provider to open them.
