Can't find Compatibility Options

    Can't find Compatibility Options


    I have Far Cry 4 installed on my Xbox Series X. I want to try the new fps update for it. When I go to manage the game, I see the options:

    "See in Microsoft Store"

    "Uninstall All"

    And then nothing below that. Screenshots I've seen about the new feature show a "Compatibility Options" button on this screen.

    I have gone to the system settings and confirmed my system has been updated as of today and I rebooted it.

    Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    Reading your problem, note that your windows version is HOME Build 21H1.

    If the update cannot be found it means that it is already installed on your system.

    *If you are getting errors like 0x80073D26 or 0x00000001, I recommend trying the solutions below, normally these errors can be resolved by following the instructions below.

    Solution 1:

    Open RegEdit as an administrator and delete the following Services:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServices]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServicesNet]

    PC reboot

    Install gaming service like you would normally

    Solution 2:

    Go to your windows settings, go to the tab>applications and resources>Search for Gaming Services, click on it, go to advanced options, and tap repair.

    That game is not currently backwards compatible so it can't be played on the One. You can find a list of backwards compatible games here

    No. It's not compatible for either.

    Xbox one but I'm buying it on here since you can't find it on the xbox one store. It is backwards compatible though
