Can't express my frustration in words - beware of extended warranty aka Microsoft complete

I purchased the extended warranty from the store in December but neither microsoftstore support nor the xbox support can find the order. They can't confirm the warranty. I can't find the extended warranty information under xbox.com check warranty link.
When I called today Microsoft store transferred me to xbox support and then xbox support transferred me back to microsoftstore support. I spent 4 hours on the phone today. I had a chat with customer service a week after I bought extended warranty back in December.
They told me to wait and the system will show the updated warranty information after few days. At the end of the day xbox support opened a service request for further investigation. So if you happen to buy warranty from the store please beware of the problem.
I do not want you to go through the frustration as I just did today.

Are you getting extended warranty?

Has anyone purchased the extended warranty from Microsoft? The only extended plan that seems to be available for my Xbox One is called "Microsoft Complete - Xbox One - 2 years". It costs $69.99 and states that it "covers all hardware issues for 2 years from
the date of purchase". I was under the impression that the extended warranty was for a total of 3 years. Is this a typo in the plan description or is the warranty only for 2 years?

Yes. Microsoft DOES offer an extended warranty. HOWEVER, it does have to be purchased no later than 45 days after purchasing your xbox one system. So unless your purchased your xbox one less than 45 days ago then your system is no longer eligible to be covered
by the extended warranty.

Sorry to hear it. Did you pay via credit card? Perhaps the charge will show there. If you used your gamertag's email to make the purchase it may also show up in the purchase history at commerce.microsoft.com.

However, as this is a billing issue you should definitely continue dealing with phone support. When all is said and done though, if you did pay by credit card and never received the item then you can dispute the charge with the credit card company.
