    Can't exit or quit game on Xbox one s


    I hit the Xbox controller button on controller, but the only options I have is to 'turn off the console, turn off the controller, or restart the console' There is no side menu to exit the app. Do I need to do a factory reset to fix this glitch? And what
    about all the games I just downloaded? Will all that disappear when I do a factory reset?

    I figured it out. There is short press and long press. Pressing too long take you to the 3 options seen by me and OP, a shorter press give the list of apps. From the turnoff/restart screen, a short press also takes you to the app list.

    For games that offer a set amount of time (like two hours) to try it make sure you quit the game via the menu button to end the timer. Do not just exit, exit the game then hit the menu button on the game at the home screen and quit.
