    Can't enable the cloud storage on XB360


    Hi, not sure if this should be here or not, I want to copy my stuff from my 360 to the cloud so that I can download it to my XB one, I've put in the code for a 14 day live gold trial yesterday which was accepted but it won't let me enable the cloud storage,
    it keeps saying that I need to be on live gold????

    Any ideas? or tips on how to complete the task and get the stuff copied over

    Hi, I've met the requirements on

    http://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/troubleshooting/cloud-save-troubleshoot

    and

    http://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/game-setup/cloud-save-games

    But when I go to Settings->System->Storage I still don't see an option to enable cloud storage, only for managing local content. Why don't I see the option? I'm signed in to Xbox Live, have a valid subscription ( I just now downloaded a free Games with Gold
    game), and have 86GB free.

    My ultimate goal is to be able to save Xbox 360 progress on games I've downloaded via Gold and have them work properly.

    Hey there, NeverAngel!

    I'm sorry to see any cloud save issues! I'm assuming this is for Xbox 360 based on your description of the steps it wants you to take.

    I'm also seeing an error on that page, and it looks like it's directing to the wrong place. I'll look into that separately, since you've found the steps you need.

    If you just got Gold, sometimes the 360 needs an account refresh.
    Download your profile
    to your console again and see if that helps. If not, you may need to get the Gold re-added to your account. You'll want to
    contact us via phone or chat support to have them cancel the Gold and then issue you a new code to redeem on your account.

    Let me know how it goes! We'll work on fixing that website error, but these steps should get you sorted out. Can't enable the cloud storage on XB360 :)

    Hello Martin your name in your gamertag is silver. Look at mine it's gold. Must be a problem with your gold membership.

    As mentioned,you need a full gold membership to use the cloud on the 360.

    A 14 day trial is not a full gold membership,it just gives you access to some xbox live gold features.not all of them.

    Restarted the console, same problem.
