    Can't enable Cloud Storage


    "Sorry, cloud storage isn't available to everyone yet. For more info, go to
    www.xbox.com/cloudstorage
    " - the adress doesn't work for me, I end up on a 'Ooops!'-typ of site.

    But managed to find instructions:

    They say to

    • From the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings, and then select System.
    • Select Storage, and then select your primary storage device.
    • Select System Items, and then select Cloud Storage Console Copy.
    • Select Delete.
    But there's no 'Cloud Storage Console Copy' for me to delete?! What else can I do!?

    They just say "Look if it's working now", but it isn't. And I can't find anything on how I can solve this.

    Hi, I've met the requirements on

    http://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/troubleshooting/cloud-save-troubleshoot

    and

    Xbox Cloud Storage | Cloud Game Saves | Xbox Saved Games

    But when I go to Settings->System->Storage I still don't see an option to enable cloud storage, only for managing local content. Why don't I see the option? I'm signed in to Xbox Live, have a valid subscription ( I just now downloaded a free Games with Gold
    game), and have 86GB free.

    My ultimate goal is to be able to save Xbox 360 progress on games I've downloaded via Gold and have them work properly.

    What happend??

    Enable cloud save( go to settings - system - storage - cloud save - enable)

    When you start gow 3, select cloud save instead of your HD storage, play a quick match and it'll automatically save to your cloud storage.

    Now switch back to your HD storage by simply changing the storage on the options.

    Repeat anytime you want to backup your data.

    I got Gold membership just for this, basically.

    Restarted the console, same problem.

    Any other way I could transfer my data?

    I'm sorry to see any cloud save issues! I'm assuming this is for Xbox 360 based on your description of the steps it wants you to take.

    I'm also seeing an error on that page, and it looks like it's directing to the wrong place. I'll look into that separately, since you've found the steps you need.

    If you just got Gold, sometimes the 360 needs an account refresh.
    Download your profile
    to your console again and see if that helps. If not, you may need to get the Gold re-added to your account. You'll want to
    contact us via phone or chat support to have them cancel the Gold and then issue you a new code to redeem on your account.

    Let me know how it goes! We'll work on fixing that website error, but these steps should get you sorted out. Can't enable Cloud Storage :)

    Sorry to hear it. The gamertag you're posting with shows as Silver. Is it possible that you're sharing a Gold membership on the One?

    If you believe that you should then you should give phone support a call to get that sorted (1-800-469-9269 in North America).

    Otherwise a Gold Membership and an Xbox Hard Drive are required to set up the Cloud on the 360.
