    Can't edit parental control settings


    A while back when I first got my Xbox, my brother put parental controls on it. He put it under his email and then forgot the password. I finally got into the account and changed the password, and then tried to edit my settings with the password. It said
    that I need a code to go the the site, and that the security info won't change until the 31st. Is there anything that I can do about it? I really just wanna play Destiny on the Xbox One but it won't let me because of the settings.

    did you try recovering the account, or you can call up support. but i would first recover the account to see if

    that would work. Lastly i'm guessing your not age bound to make such a change but i could be wrong. hmm this try these two methods i proved or wait for another forum person to help you with this issue.

    Sorry to hear it. There is nothing you can do about waiting for the change to take place.

    As for the parental settings, your parent would need to call phone support to get help having it removed. If you live in North America dial 1-800-469-9269

    Sorry to hear about the editing issues. Have you tried to edit your bio on xbox.com? If you haven't already you can try editing your bio on our Edit Profile page. I would also check to make sure
    that you don't have any parental controls enabled that may prevent you from editing your bio. You can find out if you have any of these settings enabled on our Parental
    Control     page.

    Give these suggestions a try and let us know if you are able to edit your bio.

    support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-parental-control    . It'll tell you how to set it and extend it.

    As long as no one has your passcode to the console, it can't be reset without calling support and proving you are the parent on the account.
