If this doesn't work, you should contact Xbox support directly so that they can manage your subscription for you :

1. Contact us here
2. Select My Account
3. Select "See other options"
4. Select Error Messages and codes
5. Select "Show contact options"
6. Select Request a callback from support

I did edit my post but it hasn't changed for some reason.

It was meant to say you can't use currency to buy xbox live or any other subscription based service.

when experiencing an issue like this be sure to try to clear cache and cookies in the browser or try inPrivate (or Incognito) browsing, this will make sure not cache/cookies are not used. If that fails also be sure to try to go to

http://account.microsoft.com/services via a different device to see if that makes any difference.

If this all fails then it's best to contact Xbox Support via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat so they can look into the issue and when needed turn off Auto renewal for you.
