Can't download Xbox profile

Having the same problem. Maybe it has something to do with the heartbleed stuff thats been happening lately?

 

Can't download profile as i mentioned but i have had an achievement on my windows phone which has clocked up

 

same old error code 80072EFE (for the one which we don't have)... I think what the problem is live thinks we're downloading to an xbox one , which we're not and it doesn't recognise the 360 anymore so it cant download profiles no more to the 360.


now a little conspiracy theory here, they might want us to waste an extortionate amount of money and buy the xbox one, they're not going to fix the problem until we do.

 

Same problem here. Tried the recommended methods to fix it, clearing the cache, formatting the hard drive, (even trying it on my brothers console to see if it was my ISPs problem) all to no avail. Only happens on my 360 though, everything's fine on the Xbone
(at the moment).

 

That crap still isn`t working!?!?!? I just can`t believe that Microsoft treats his customers in such a ignorant way!!!!! What the Hell is wrong with them?????? Should have listened to my guts and stayed away from this xbox trash

 

k I've just been through to live chat and they've issued a ticket , we've went troubleshooting again and when it got to the download profile it stopped and I told her it stopped with the error code 80072EFE , the issue is being sent to an Advocacy team to
fix it and I needed to give them serial numbers and console ID's so they can check what the problem is.

so best advice is to get through to livechat ASAP , do what they say then tell them it stops at profile download and tell them the error code. they will get in touch with you.

 

RE Nova Gold - Yes i did this 3 days ago and there is no progress what so ever - they just emailed me back to say to check your ISP and that to male sure you are connected through an ethernet cable. Previously i was told it could take up to a fortnight.

Same thing has happened to me since today, I'm really I can't play it!!! I've done all the steps and other steps several times, been on network test with support several times and jumped everything OK - through all their hoops.
