Can't download Xbox profile

The only solution is to wait, I think we all have the same problem with the media error is noted on the site.

Can't download profile

8007007a is the error code I get when I try to download my profile on any Xbox 360

Mine a friends or a strangers xbox

I can play with other accounts no problem. But when I try this account I get the error code 8007007A sorry Xbox live profiles can't be downloaded right now. Try again later.

I've reset network cleared cache factory reset modem. Even went as far as changing the billing info and passwords. Still same result. Thought I would try on a friends account. I can play fine on my Xbox. Help

Yes i am also in same situation,cannot recover my tag!!! can recover other tag no problem,but mine just takes forever then around 75% it pops up with that goofy code 80072efe,soooo frustrating,starting to get mad now,been 1 full day called xbox twice,tried
everything,they have no idea whats going on!!!

 

Im also having the same problem it gets to 75% then jumps back to around 25% and just repeats until I get the 8007EFE error and I have been trying this since yesterday,

Have any of you played an xbox one and have achievements from that console?

Because thats the only thing that is different on my xbox account just wondering if this could be an issue

 

yes.i did play xb1 for awhile when it first came out,earned like 350 GS on dr3,funny u said that as i was also wondering the same thing,one thing for sure,they should at least let us know that they know theres a problem for some of us,whn i told support
that others had same issues they said oh just a coincidence!!! yeah ok!!!

 

same problem for me. although weirdly it lets family members download theirs on the same console :/

 

I think that is the common problem with all of us. We have played the Xbox One also. I've been trying all day yesterday and still cannot download my profile as of this morning. This is getting very frustrating! I bought so many games on this account and
I can't even play them!

I talked to xbox support for several hours and they were no help either. I want some answers!

 

Just as i expected typical something new had ruined the good old stuff again I have been locked of my own account since 2.00pm GMT yesterday and theres not much they can do for me to get back online.

I have never played an Xbone and Im also experienceing this probelm. Xbox live support dont seem to want to give a straight answer. Keep getting told different time frames for this with every person I speak to

 

Sometime there is a issue with the Microsoft account.

Go to the Microsoft account page,
http://account.live.com, and check if you have a real name entered for your display name on the overview page.

at the Xbox - clear cache, restart, download your profile

Im still having same issues. We need to keep on at them over Live chat to try and get them to speed things up as its been over 24 hours for myself now and its ridiculous
